Month-end across the client book, two ways
Same ledgers, same statements, same deadline. What changes is who does the matching and where your reviewers start.
What checking everything finds
Matching every line and every account is the job staff never have time for. This is what it turned up.
A seven-figure difference, caught before the client saw it
Sofia reconciled a client's balance sheet against the source system and traced a seven-figure difference to a single line, before the numbers reached the client.
ExploreBilling checked on every account
Billed rates checked against fee schedules across thousands of accounts. Partners got every exception, account by account, where a sample would have shown them a handful.

One standard workpaper, from every staff accountant
The best workpaper in the building is usually one senior's. Sofia learns it once for every staff accountant.
Each accountant with their own AI
- Each accountant prompts a chatbot their own way
- Good workpaper habits stay with one person
- New staff relearn it every season
Sofia, taught once
- Your best senior shows Sofia the workpaper once
- It becomes a skill the whole firm runs
- First-season staff produce the same file
And the small jobs, done every day
Alongside the close, Sofia takes the recurring work your staff would rather not do, done the same way each time.
- After every client meeting
Notes, tasks and the follow-up
Notes, tasks and the client email drafted from the call, waiting for your approval when you're back at your desk.
- Every day
Records kept current
Contacts, deadlines and engagement status updated in your CRM from emails and calls, so nobody re-keys them.
- Each finished file
Filed where reviewers look
Workpapers, letters and memos saved to the right client folder in SharePoint, Box or Google Drive.
Connected to the systems your firm runs on
Sofia works with more than 800 business systems, so she works from your real data. We set up the ones your firm uses.
Your clients' ledgers
Sofia reads the chart of accounts, general ledger, journal entries, bank transactions and invoices, then reconciles, reviews billing and builds the month-end pack.
ExploreWorkpapers where they belong
Sofia reads and updates Excel workpapers range by range, adds worksheets, recalculates, and saves finished files to the client's folder.
ExploreInbox, signatures and meetings
Client emails drafted from the file, engagement letters sent from your DocuSign template with status tracked, and meeting recordings turned into notes and tasks.

Questions firms ask
Will Sofia prepare our tax returns?
No. Sofia takes the work around the return: reconciliations, engagement letters, document requests, client follow-ups and plain-language explanations. Preparation, review and signature stay with your licensed professionals, and Sofia files nothing with a tax authority.
Our staff live in tax and workpaper software. Does Sofia connect to it?
Sofia works with more than 800 business systems, including QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Excel, SharePoint and Box. Where a tax or workpaper product has no connection, Sofia works from the exports and documents in your file system. The Sofia Assessment maps exactly what connects at your firm.
How do we know the numbers are right?
Sofia checks her sources, and a person at your firm does the final review. In a reconciliation, every difference shows where it came from, so your reviewer checks the flagged item and moves on.
Who approves what goes to clients?
Your people. Approval steps can be built into any workflow that writes to a client system or sends a message. Nothing connects until your IT lead agrees the access, anything on your never-touch list stays out, and your firm's data isn't used to train AI models.
How soon would we see results?
Once the agreement starts, Sofia is doing real work for your firm in under two weeks. If the results we agreed at signing aren't there after 90 days, you can exit the agreement.
